Akay Sanayi Madencilik Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. has been a 100% domestic lime producer since 1956, exporting to 5 continents through 500 dealers worldwide.
Founded by Mustafa Vildan Akay and continued by his heirs Cemil Merih and Murat Akay, our facility is located in Yilankale, Adana on 145 dunums of open land and 5 dunums of closed area.
Our patented kiln technology (Patent No. TPE: 2008 00043) — an industrial kiln that burns fuel and waste during calcination — enables 24/7 continuous burning, drying and micronisation. We operate 6 Eberhart kilns with Load Cell weighing, thermocouples, PLC and SCADA automation.
Our NHL 5 Natural Hydraulic Lime has been tested by KURAM (Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University Cultural Heritage Research Centre) according to TS EN 459-1/459-2 standards, achieving 1.56 MPa flexural strength and 5.49 MPa compressive strength.
All products are ISO 9001-2000 and CE certified. We hold an A-Type Emission Permit and our facility is subject to continuous emission monitoring by the Ministry of Environment.
